Log every scaffold inspection the way the law actually requires.

For small firms and site managers running scaffolds under provincial OHS rules. Generates a compliant register, not a notebook scribble.

Provincial OHS regulations require a competent worker to inspect scaffolds before first use, at the intervals your province sets, and after any event that could affect stability. Keep the records on site while the scaffold is in use, then retain them with your project file.

Disclaimer: This tool generates a scaffold inspection record in line with your province's OHS competent-worker inspection requirements. The inspection itself must be carried out by a competent worker. This tool records findings - it does not replace competence, training or judgement.

    What the law actually says

    • Every province's occupational health and safety regulations require scaffolds to be inspected by a competent worker before use and at set intervals, with the results recorded. In Ontario that duty is in O. Reg. 213/91 (Construction Projects); other provinces set similar rules. This register is that record.
