Paste your quote in, we'll flag the holes before the client finds them.
For sole proprietors and small firms who want a second pair of eyes on their quote before sending. Covers scope, payment terms, exclusions, variations and the clauses clients quietly add later.
Sound familiar?
- “Your quotes keep turning into arguments about what was and was not included.”
- “You forgot to say whether the price includes GST/HST and the client expects the lower number.”
- “A client added work later and refused to pay because they said it was in the quote.”
What this tool does
Runs your quote through a checklist of the most common causes of quote disputes on construction work, missing scope, unclear payment terms, missing exclusions, no change-order clause, no holdback position, no GST/HST position. Produces a flag list.

What the law actually says
- •There is no single quote statute, but provincial consumer-protection law requires estimates to be clear and honest, and some provinces limit how far a final bill can exceed a written estimate (Ontario caps it at 10 percent). A solid quote spells out the scope, what is excluded, whether the price includes GST/HST, the payment terms and any deposit. That is what stops disputes later.
